Many pieces of what we learned through your course came to mind during our trip to Ethiopia. Your course was so impactful in giving us a foundation to build on for our business.
This BAM core course provided an excellent biblical foundation for doing our business. I thoroughly enjoyed studying God’s Word with people around the world and discussing what the Bible says about topics like work, God’s provision, and wealth. My mindset on these topics had been skewed by the culture around me and my university classes, so the coursework and discussions brought some much-needed clarity. I’m so thankful we had the opportunity to take this course during the beginning stages of our business and I am sure it will impact us and our work for years to come!
Core Course
This has been such an enriching and timely course for me. As we start a new venture as a family I really needed this clarity and conviction on the Biblical perspective of money management. The discussions and content have been thought provoking and challenging. The topic is such a fundamental area to be clearer on. God has spoken to me through it. I am experiencing a greater freedom in my spirit towards the whole area. My faith has been built. It will continue to have it’s challenges and everyday problems, but I feel in a better position to know where to go in the Bible for help and have a greater assurance surrounding the subject.

Thank you to the group who have helped me get greater clarity on it thru our discussions. Thank you David for the privilege of participating and your insightful challenges and course content. I would whole heartedly recommend it for anyone seeking to know the Father’s mind on money!

I didn’t think I really needed to take this course because I thought I had a fairly solid biblical theology of business. But I was wrong. This course is more than theology – it’s about getting our hearts aligned with God’s heart so that we are ready to business for him – not for anything or anyone else. It has challenged me to ask the question, “Am I really seeking God’s kingdom first? And how can I do that better through business?

Participating in the Beyond Babylon Business Course was truly transformative. It provided invaluable insights into integrating Kingdom principles into my work, while also challenging my perspectives on money, business, and mission. The blend of deep biblical reflection and practical application equipped me to approach my work as a ministry with greater clarity, purpose and eternal impact. The discussions and connections with like-minded participants were equally inspiring as we wrestled to understand and practically apply the content together. This course has deeply enriched both my faith and professional life, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to live aligned to their God-given design in the marketplace.

The discussions are thought provoking, challenging, and will leave you stirred and even disturbed.  Take the course at our own risk and get ready to be forever changed.

Here’s what I’d say to someone considering the course…

It can feel like your means of making a living and your faith in God belong to separate parts of your heart. This course helps you see how God is present in your work and provision and how Scripture can inspire and ignite what you do in your business. You’ll come out of the course with a more holistic understanding of how God’s ultimate plan for your eternity is present in your workday.
